Support your response with specific details from your research. Prompt Response:   I think the most interesting part of the research has been that no matter where the families are located, either in the US or other countries, strict parenting does not seem to work. Even in the articles I found in Chinese cultures, strict parenting does not make a more obedient or less stressed child. It actually causes more anxiety.  Summary:We worked on research papers with out groups. Reflection:  You never know where your research will take you.

Prompt: How has completing the annotated bibliography changed or clarified your understanding of your research topic? Discuss how your sources connect to one another and how they are shaping your argument moving forward. By completing the bibliographies, it helped me see that a good number of my articles are based in international research in other countries. When I first thought of the subject, I didn't think about having an international perspective and how there are similarities in the US. Summary: Sometimes research will lead you in a different direction. Reflection: We worked on our bibliographies.

Prompt: Which part of the annotated bibliography (summary, reflection, or evaluation) was the most challenging for you, and why? Explain how that challenge helped you grow as a researcher and how it will help you when writing your research paper.  I think it was harder to do the summary. Some of these articles are long. Trying to briefly summarize them is hard. I basically had to look at my notes as I was reading the article and then get a summary from the notes. It helped me grow by being better at taking notes while reading. Summary: Sometimes is takes a lot of work to get a brief summary. Reflection: We worked on our Bibliographies.

Prompt: Think about your experience using GALILEO to find sources. How was this different from how you have searched for information in the past? Explain how using specific search strategies and evaluating sources impacted the quality of what you found. I think it is hard to use Galileo because you get so much information and it is a bunch of different resources. The information is more reliable than searching for resources in google, but you are able to narrow down your topic more. If they improved the search engine in Galileo it would be better. Using Galileo makes me question the other resources that I have used in the past. Summary: Question your sources and don't believe everything that you read. Reflection: We worked on our research project.
