Describe a time when you felt completely lost

 Prompt: A time when I felt completely lost is when I was five and my mom left me in Publix. I was lost for 15 minutes. I was scared because I was five and I thought I was lost forever and that I would never see my mom again. The Publix worker found my mom in like 5 minutes and I was okay again.

Summary:We went over presentations and we did our blogs.

Reflection: I learned about different perspectives on the jealous father.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

  Prompt: I had experienced being an outsider when I transferred to a new school mid-year, where people already had their circle and routine. I felt like a stranger and as if I was intruding in a world with no room for me. That sense of isolation made it hard to connect with other individuals and encouraged me to retreat further. Eventually, though, a classmate of mine began including me in group activities and conversations, and this helped gradually to erode the wall of invisibility around me. As in The Interlopers, that change of heart from viewing others as strangers to viewing common humanity changed the emotional weather and allowed for the building of a new sense of community.
