Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths

Prompt: When I was younger, I used to ride my bike around the neighborhood all day and I would go everywhere. This connected me with nature because I would spend the whole day outside finding something to do. Most the time my friends would join me and we would spend out days building forts, walking in the creek and woods. Exlporing my surroundings made me feel like a Native American nomad.

Summary: Today in class, we discussed Native American Literature.

Reflection: I learned that one of the forms of literature that Native Americans used is oral storytelling. This is helpful because my grandfather was a storyteller, and he was part Creek Indian. Storytelling must have been something that was passed onto him.
