Prompt response: my favorite work right now is peace. I like the way i feel when i talk about situations that are peaceful. It makes me think about how great peace is and that everyone should experience peace.

Based solely on the events and details presented in this opening chapter, do you believe McCandless truly understood the risks he was taking when he entered the Alaskan wilderness? Why or why not? Prompt Response:  My first impression of Chris McCandless was  that he was insane and very bold on burning all of his money and savings to go and live off the land in the Alaskan wilderness. He was knowledgeable about the area and how to successfully live off the land. What he didn't think of was asking someone who has lived off the land from scratch. I believe that if he had taken more into consideration then he wouldn't have died. Summary: we read into the wild Reflection:  reading about nonfiction is very interesting
