Prompt response: one time when i had to set a boundary was when my friend wanted to use my phone to cheat on his final because he got his taken. I refused him because i was scared of getting in trouble and i didnt think it was worth it.

Based solely on the events and details presented in this opening chapter, do you believe McCandless truly understood the risks he was taking when he entered the Alaskan wilderness? Why or why not? Prompt Response:  My first impression of Chris McCandless was  that he was insane and very bold on burning all of his money and savings to go and live off the land in the Alaskan wilderness. He was knowledgeable about the area and how to successfully live off the land. What he didn't think of was asking someone who has lived off the land from scratch. I believe that if he had taken more into consideration then he wouldn't have died. Summary: we read into the wild Reflection:  reading about nonfiction is very interesting
