Prompt Response: the he Hardest object would be my phone and my bed. I couldn't imagine not getting good sleep and I would be very tired all of the time and wouldn't be able to function. I would keep a blanket and my pillow so I could get a decent nights sleep

Based solely on the events and details presented in this opening chapter, do you believe McCandless truly understood the risks he was taking when he entered the Alaskan wilderness? Why or why not? Prompt Response:  My first impression of Chris McCandless was  that he was insane and very bold on burning all of his money and savings to go and live off the land in the Alaskan wilderness. He was knowledgeable about the area and how to successfully live off the land. What he didn't think of was asking someone who has lived off the land from scratch. I believe that if he had taken more into consideration then he wouldn't have died. Summary: we read into the wild Reflection:  reading about nonfiction is very interesting
